Day 4. Last touches this morning to yesterdays painting…I was in danger of overworking, my tendency is detail and that is what I am trying to avoid!
Luckily a flu jab and xmas drinks later has put an end to my fiddling.

I will never own a real ’Faberge Egg’ however many years ago I found these two beautiful ’Faberge’ style Christmas Baubles. Every year they are carefully and lovingly unwrapped and placed in a prominent position on our tree.
I have never attempted to paint one before or any Christmas decoration – not sure I will again using oils, maybe mixed media next time and throw some glitter at it instead!
